ARE THERE ALTERNATIVE WAYS TO PROMOTE MY SITE,
OTHER THAN SPENDING LOTS OF MONEY ON ADS?
research shows that customers trusted internet companies that advertised offline. If they don't have your trust they won't buy.
1.Keep in touch with past and present customers via email.
2.Become part of your local web community. Become a place for local resources.
3.Swap links with a non-competing website that serves the same community. Give value to the customer. Your site should contain 80% free stuff and information and only 20% selling.
Don't use the generic link-exchange programs. Your competitor may show up on the link, taking customers away.
4. Get listed on as many search engines as possible
